  Coral Reef Ecosystems
Coral Reef Ecosystems, which will be located at Heron and One tree Island Research Stations, will focus on the dominant taxa and habitats within reef environments and the processes and linkages between them. Emphasis will be on corals, other sessile organisms (plant and animal), and reef-associated fishes. Subject material will cover ecological, physiological and molecular issues. The course will be offered jointly by the University of Queensland, James Cook University, Sydney University and the Australian Museum.

It will run from 16 July – 25 July, 2008 and will accommodate 39 students.
