lots of other sports, going to the beach, listening to music and seeing
friends.
Career aspirations:
To
gain an understanding of human impacts on the marine environment,
especially on coastal areas and marine animals, and use this knowledge
to work as a conservationist in marine related areas.
Reasons for interest in the Tropical Marine Science Program:
These
courses offer a unique opportunity and a great way to get 'hands on'
experience in the field which would otherwise not be possible. With
the experience gained during the stay on the research stations it
will be easier to relate to real world problems than with classroom
knowledge only - a great advantage for future job applications.
