  Tropical Fisheries Biology + Management

Tropical Fisheries Biology and Management will be offered at Orpheus Island Research Station and will introduce students to recent advances in fisheries science, with an emphasis on managed and exploited species in tropical marine waters. Developments in estimating age and growth, stock assessment, methods of management and single and multi-species fisheries models will be discussed. The course will be offered jointly by the University of Queensland, James Cook University, Sydney University and the Australian Museum.

It will run from 14 July – 23 July, 2008 and will accommodate 24 students. (Note date changes)
